Megan Fox, a four-year veteran of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, calls her team's championship in AOL's Hottest Cheerleaders Tournament an honor. In the competition's final round, voters chose her squad over the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders 64 to 36 percent.
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders had to be the favorite to win the Hottest Cheerleaders Tournament given their world-wide fame. Then again, the Dallas football team was a Super Bowl favorite before being upset by the Giants in the playoffs last weekend.
In the tournament's preliminary round, which resembled the NFL regular season, the Cowboys won the NFC East division with ease. That Cowboys showing earned them a first-round bye in the playoffs and allowed them to avoid the first-round contest.
The ladies from Dallas Cowboys had plenty of reason to smile when they returned to action in the second round of the playoffs. They beat the rival Washington Redskins by a comfortable margin.
With a trip to the Super Bowl of cheer on the line in the NFC Championship against the upstart Carolina Panthers, the Cowboys captured 54 percent of the vote. Their run was completed the next week with the big championship win against the Dolphins.
