The 2-0 Boston Celtics won game two last night in their hometown with a final score of 102-108. That score does not reflect how lopsided this game was. The Lakers made a fourth quarter push to crawl back within 6 points but were outscored by at least 10 in the second and third quarter. Many fans are wondering if Boston’s NBA team is going to be able to sweep the Lakers. If the Celtics are able to take this series they would raise the 17th championship banner for the city. Boston like the Lakers has a long NBA team history with greats like Larry Bird to live up to.
He may have got the MVP but Kobe Bryant was not shooting well last night going 11 for 23 with field goals. He shot 1 for 3 behind the arch but still ended the game with 30 points. Gasol and Radmanovic each had 10 rebounds.
The Big Three may just be the answer to the Lakers NBA team basketball supremacy. Pierce had 28 points with 8 assists, Garnett had 17 points with 14 rebounds and Ray Allen scored 17 points with 2 assists. Rondo led the way in assists with 16. If the Celtics are going to make NBA team history by sweeping the Lakers, better shooting percentages will need to be seen in LA on Tuesday. Stay updated here for all team sports information.
