Dallas Cowboys, All team sports informationBefore Sunday afternoon, it appeared that the NFC East was, top-to-bottom, the strongest division in the league, and that three of its four teams were destined to advance to the postseason.

All team sports information reports now, it's not nearly as obvious.

With the Redskins shocking the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas, and the Eagles dropping a close one in Chicago, two of the NFL teams perceived by many to be among the best three or four in the league are now in third and fourth place in their own division.

After their loss to Washington, the Dallas Cowboys technically are behind the 3-0 Giants and 3-1 Redskins. Then come the Eagles at 2-2, who only a week ago could have made a strong case for being the second-best NFL team in the league by virtue of their Week 2 loss in Texas Stadium by only four points.

The NFC now looks to be every bit as wide open as the AFC, especially since the current kings of the hill -- the Giants -- had tougher-than-expected games against the 0-4 Rams and 0-4 Bengals.

Though it was a bad day for Dallas Cowboys and Philly fans, their losses in Week 4 have added more spice to one of the most intriguing NFL seasons in league history.
