A Very Green NBA Team The Best Ever? |

It’s been a long time since I had to pick my favorite NBA team of all time, but I will give it a shot. Since I was a little kid my dad got me hooked on his favorite NBA team: The Chicago Bulls. This all happened even before Michael Jordan blessed the old Chicago Stadium with his bold moves so I would consider myself a hardcore fan of this NBA team. This team broke the record of wins during the 1996 season with 72 wins and seemingly taking the title of best NBA team ever home. However, as much as I love my beloved Bulls, I think there is one team out there that even though never won over 70 wins in a season would have given the 1996 Bulls NBA team a nice little booty whooping. I am talking about the Boston Celtics NBA team of the eighties. Simply put, this NBA team had it all. They had the fire power to blow any time out of the water, the defensive prowess to compete with the 1986 Bears NFL team defense phenomena and, of course, stars like Larry Bird, the Chief and Kevin Mchale. On a one on one match this team’s height, power in the low post presence and wisdom on the floor would have beaten my beloved Bulls in a seven game series. It would have been tough, but in the end the green would triumph over the red.
