dallas cowboys, nfl The Dallas Cowboys have been able to hold onto a solid record for longer then many NFL fans have expected. Romo hasn’t been having the best season but has consistently found a way out of bad situations leading to their current 8-3 record. They are ahead of the Eagles in the NFC East Standings, which is a big deal. Some would say their past opponents for the most part have been weak. They slaughtered the Raiders last week as seen in the video below, as most teams do. For me, it was really the first time in a couple games they looked on point. Romo still made a few mistakes but his defense had his back.

The next trio of teams facing the Dallas Cowboys are not going to rollover without a fight. The rest of their regular NFL season schedule, barring the Washington Redskins in Week 16, is going to be tough. The Dallas Cowboys are going to need to lessen interceptions, hold the run and be in sync with Romo. Last week that was definitely coming to fruition. The question many NFL fans are asking is if this team cohesion will stick against tougher rivals.

In Week 2, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Giants, barely 31-33 and will get a chance at redemption in New York this Sunday. I think this is a good start to a tough remaining schedule because Eli has only commanded his team to just above 500 percent as of yet. Romo will find confidence in this fact. After they leap through that east coast hoop, it will be back home to host the as of now 8-3 Chargers. This will be a tougher game. Skating away with a win here will be very important because up next is a trip down south to New Orleans.

All signs are pointing to the Saints remaining lossless up until the Dallas Cowboys with their next two opponents being the Redskins and then Falcons. There is no doubt Brees will have his team fired up for the Dallas matchup. Looking even further comes the Redskins again and then ending the season with the Eagles. At this point, Dallas may have already secured the top spot in the NFC East but who knows. All I know for sure is there is some good NFL match ups on the horizon, for the Dallas Cowboys and other leaders of the league. You have got to love this time of the year.
