Growing up I was a huge fan of the NFL Dallas Cowboys football team. I remember the days of snuggling up on the couch at my parents home in anticipation of watching my beloved Dallas Cowboys whip up on the dreaded Washington Redskins or beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in another Super Bowl match-up. Players like Rodger Staubach and the guy's on the defense were my favorites. Most of my friends were fans of other NFL teams located closer to where we lived, like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals, but for some reason it was always the Dallas Cowboys for me. We always had a great time getting together to watch the games when our favorite teams were player each other. One of the reasons I was such a fan of the Dallas Cowboys as a kid was coach Tom Landry. He always wore his signature hat and was the type of coach I could imagine myself playing for when I made it to the NFL. Well, I did not make it to the NFL but I am still a huge fan!
