Dallas Cowboys Get Another Win But Is It Good Enough? |

There are times when you just have to say thank you for the win and move on. But, can the Dallas Cowboys, who improved to 3-2 over the weekend by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime, really look forward to the rest of the season? A lot of the coaches, Dallas Cowboys players, and even fans say that this win is a step in the right direction.
Every great football player knows that a win is a win, but there are times when you look at the game tape and know that you have to improve your play on the field. The Dallas Cowboys, who also have wins against Tampa Bay and Carolina, have a tougher schedule ahead of them for the rest of the season.
For me, I'm not panicking yet. I've watched a few different sports news shows that have said the players are putting their minds to doing much better on the field as they continue on to bring a SuperBowl championship to Dallas. I, for one, can't wait until the Dallas Cowboys claim another SuperBowl Championship.
With players the caliber of Tony Romo, Marion Barber, Jason Witten, Roy Williams, and DeMarcus Ware it is only a matter of time before the Dallas Cowboys begin to click together. I think beating Kansas City this past Sunday shows a glimmer of hope after a heart breaking loss to the Broncos the week before.
It is going to take a lot of determination and accountability in order for the players to find their rhythm together. However, the Dallas Cowboys is the team that can do it! Of course, the Dallas Cowboys are going to have to play much better. I was a little surprised to see that they had 13 errors and two unforced turnovers. Being professionals the team knows that they can't do this. I think it is great that they are not pointing fingers and trying to pin the blame on anyone. They know that as the season goes on, they are going to be in battles with other teams. On any given Sunday afternoon, the ball may bounce the wrong way, travel through the air weird, or a running back may be a step ahead of someone for a break out run.
The Dallas Cowboys are determined to get the lucky breaks to turn their way when they go against the Falcons and Seahawks at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. Coach Wade Phillips knows that his team can come through, but they have to play better and keep the mistakes down to a minimum. Sometimes a close win is a good thing. It keeps you motivated and determined to do better in the next game. |
