Breaking Free of a NBA Tailspin in Phoenix |

It has been the way of the Phoenix Suns since I jumped on their bus: starting strong, losing flame, reigniting near the end of the regular season and then floundering in the playoffs. At the moment, they are in the loss of heat portion of their season. After losing 4 of 5 this month and falling 8.5 games behind the Lakers in the Pacific Standings, they were able to pull out a decisive win against the awful New York Nets last night. Baby steps. The glimmer of an upward trend caught my eye last night when the Suns started to become unstoppable, hitting every shot with minutes remaining in the fourth. They are a come to play late in the game kind of NBA team.
Seen in the NBA recap video above, Stat came away with 27, Richardson did work scoring 26 and Lopez ended solid with 20. Good old Steve Nash acted as the assist man he is but only came banked 12 points. If they want to recover from this NBA tailspin, the Suns will have to bring consistency back into their vocabulary and beat the very young legs of the Bulls tomorrow.
