dallas cowboysMan, we saw a different Dallas Cowboys this past weekend then I imagined would show up. There were a few different things Dallas did well but many more mistakes they should have avoided. Their offensive rush was strong but Romo’s arm proved to be inaccurate and slippery. The Vikings brought the house and the Dallas O-line was not solid enough to keep the doors closed. Romo in turn got abused.  As the second quarter rolled on and the Vikings continued to push the Dallas Cowboys became very anxious jumping counts, shanking field goals and fumbling balls.

Flustered describes what we saw from the Lone Star state last weekend. As for field goals, it was hard to stomach the multiple missed kicks from under 40 yards. Come on, if you are paid to hit field goals and that is all you do  for millions of dollars there is no reason to miss a simple chip from 35 yards. This is 101 stuff. The basics is what the Dallas Cowboys seemed to forget faster then an Alzheimer’s patient as Favre kept putting points on the board.  If Favre can perform in the south without interceptions my mind will truly be blown.
