dallas cowboys, nflThe Dallas Cowboys have been a household name for people who don’t even follow the NFL. In the mid 90’s they were that good. At the end of the 2008 season, the Dallas Cowboys were going home, heads hanging, wondering how the playoffs escaped them. This year they finished the season with a decisive win as I mentioned in a previous post. There is going to be a lot of emotions surrounding this weekend’s first post season game for the Dallas Cowboys.

It represents a couple things. For the first, this is the chance for Dallas to prove they are still an NFL force not to be looked over. If their offense is anything like Week 17 it shouldn’t be a problem convincing people they deserve a post season spot. The second reason this playoff is important is it will be the first post season game in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. All I can say is Jerry Jones better be happy because his billion dollar investment without a spot into the post season would have been in one word, embarrassing. Can't wait to get all the action kicked off.
