Not Adhering to NFL 101 Came to Bite Favre in the Butt |

Not just coming into the divisional championships but coming into the playoffs, sports analysts big and small all were wondering when Brett Favre would start throwing interceptions again. He is one of the best, longest running quarterbacks in history but he is also a high risk player. Being in the NFL for so many years it is no wonder why he does not stick to quarterback rules learned in the peewees like never throwing over your shoulder into the middle while rolling out. It limits vision of defenders on the inside and opens the possibility of interception.
Favre is probably the most successful NFL QB at doing this successfully. But when the game was on the line, it came to bite him right in the keister in a move which may haunt him for the rest of his life. In a way, it is good because New Orleans has never been to the Super Bowl. They are an NFL team who has conquered as much adversity as the city itself. Even with the Vikings out, the Super Bowl will still be historic.
