Lat Hoorah for the NBA Season with a Parade |

The Lakers managed to win yet another championship, to the delight of Phil Jackson who should start calling himself the magic man. He can’t help but win. What it would be like to have such success in the NBA or any sport for that matter as a coach is hard to fathom. He simply understands how to get his team ready for victory. That and he shows no emotion, which I think is helpful if his players are in a jam. We all remember how much worse it was when our parents were so mad they didn’t say anything. I always looked for the quickest way to smooth things over when they hit me with the silent treatment. In the NBA that means winning.
Living in Los Angeles, there is one last NBA hoorah before the 2009-10 season doors is completely closed in this city. Monday marks the championship parade that will feature Kobe and friends. I imagine traffic around the city this Monday will be horrendous. Hopefully, LA fans don’t get rowdy like after the Finals win. Who sets a taxi cab on fire in celebration?
