While Phoenix could have played a more consistent game, Steve Kerr, the general manger at the time took his team farther than most expected. His contract had to be renowned for next season but he made a statement that he was retiring from the Suns to focus on his family and broadcasting. The rumblings around Phoenix were that Kerr actually wasn’t offered what he was worth and decided to leave. The Suns’ owner is known for pinching pennies. Probably a reason why the Suns will lose Amare to the Heat or some other NBA team.

As of Thursday, the Suns named Rick Welts presidents and chief operating officer of the team. Welts is a top executive in the Phoenix sporting industry. I hope the team end of things does not change to much but Frye and Lou may leave too. It will be interesting to see how the NBA shapes up for next season. Nash probably has one more year left in him.
