nbaIn one corner, arguably one of the best point guards in the game and in the other a monster forward who like Kobe entered the NBA out of high school. Each team has championship rings. Each has faced each other before in the NBA Finals. And both the Celtics and Lakers have the skills needed to become this seasons’ NBA ring bearers. What will happen is dependent on who you talk to. If it is the Kobe show again but the Celtics are hitting shots, my bet is on Boston. But if the Celtics play poorly, force shoots and lose out on second chance points like Game 6 than there is going to be another championship banner hoisted up into the Staples Center.

I cannot wait for tip-off. A few friends toyed with the idea of watching Game 7 at a bar but we live in the Los Angeles area and that means droves of people are going to be there. The couch seems like a good place to be for all the action. I would call it an upset if the Celtics take the ring from the Lakers this year.
