nbaThe fifth seed Phoenix Suns will host the NBA Western Conference leading Lakers tomorrow in the desert. Since the extremely physical game this past Saturday, which left Frye suspended for fighting, the Suns have been resting for Friday’s game. This game is extremely important not only to prove, the Suns have an ability to beat LA if they meet post season but because they are currently sitting one game behind the Jazz in the Western Conference.  The Lakers have won 1 of their last 4 and almost lost that one game against the just above .500 Raptors. Now the Suns aren’t statistically good at home. They play up to their opponents away from home. This will not be an excuse to lose.

With something like 18 NBA games left, the clock is ticking to secure post season match ups. I would really like to see Phoenix beat out the Jazz or the Mavericks. It is a real NBA possibility. Containing Kobe is key. We can’t afford him to hit another last second game winner. We need an 8 point lead coming into the fourth.
